We all love demon slayer and our slayers however the question of the Strongest Breathing Styles in Demon Slayer remains our minds

Breath Styles, or simply Breaths, are swordsmanship styles practiced and taught Demon Slayers, based on how to breathe. They allow their users to fight as demons and are generally used with sunswords to slay demons, with a few exceptions. Breathing Styles are an essential part of Demon Slayer and here are the strongest of them.

There are 14 Breathing Styles in total that have been revealed so far. Of course, there are more breathing styles in the world of Demon Slayer, but the list of known ones only includes the 14 that were revealed in the manga. New breathing styles are always created to suit a Demon Slayer’s combat needs, resulting in the use of new weapons in the hunt for Demons. Known breathing styles are ranked from last to first, based on their strengths.

Strongest Breathing Styles in Demon Slayer is a ranking based on power , abilities and my opinion so it may not have some of your favorite characters or even their place in the ranking is not what you expect

12. Love Breathing

Love Breathing

One of the most interesting characters on the show is the Love Hashira. It’s not hard to understand the mechanics behind Love Breathing, and how it could help someone in battle.

Mitsuri already demonstrated the full power of Love Breathing in the manga. The sixth form of her weapon is the most powerful, with a rapid slashing attack that causes massive damage and occurs in a flash.

11. Serpent Breathing

Serpent Breathing

It’s easy to see how flexible a snake can be, so it is only natural that Serpent Breathing would include this movement. ObanaiIguro’s unique blade accomplishes exactly this.

He uses the Fifth Form of Serpent breathing to control crowds and single enemies. It allows the user to easily attack multiple targets simultaneously by bending their sword.

10. Flower Breathing

Flower Breathing

Flower Breathing, as the name implies, is a style of breathing that uses flowers and fruits to create attacks, movements and techniques. It is one of two techniques that are derived from Water Breathing along with Serpent Breathing.

Two known Flower Breathing users are Kanae Kocho (main) and KanaoTsuyuri (second). It can create graceful movements and attacks that can greatly damage enemies. However, there are some drawbacks. The user can see slow motion in the world while using this breathing technique. However, it could cause permanent damage to their eyes. It can cause serious damage to the eyes and is not recommended.

09. Insect breathing

Insect breathing

Shinobu Kocho is easily the most powerful Hashira in Demon Slayer . Her techniques are so stunning during execution, making her an even more intimidating figure in the series.

It is truly amazing to see her ultimate attack, Dance of the Centipede Hundred-Legged Zigzag. Shinobu launches herself into full force to confuse her enemy with her erratic running, before she puts all her effort into a powerful stab that could even destroy a wooden Bridge, according Doma’s observations.

08. Water Breathing

Water Breathing

This is the most popular Breathing Styleof Kamado Tanjiro. Water Breathing is a technique that allows you to breathe in water. It’s basically a technique that allows the user to move like water. This means that the user’s movements flow in a continuous stream, similar to a river.

This style is more popular than the others. Sakonji Urokodaki and other minor characters are known to use it. There are many techniques in the Water BreathingStyle, and many of them were shown in the first season. The most popular move is Water Surface Slash where Tanjiro performs a simple slash to the enemy, as long as he has enough force.

It’s the Water Pillar‘s best move. Giyu Tomioka is the only one who has it. It’s called DeadCalm and although it isn’t an offensive technique, it’s a very efficient defensivemechanism.

07. Mist Breathing

Mist Breathing

Muichiro Tokito, the youngest Hashira, is a descendant of the Upper Rank One demon Kokushibo. After only two months of training, he achieved Hashira status.

Mist Breathing is a copy of how mists obscure and allow swift strikes after a cloud has been created. There are six types of Mist Breathing. Muichiro has also created a seventh. The sub-style of Wind Breathing that Mist Breathing falls under is called Mist Breathing. Obscuring Clouds is the seventh form of Mist Breathing. It disorients, defends against mist and delivers strikes in a blink of an eye.

06. Sound Breathing

Sound Breathing

Although the Sound Hashira may not have been seen much in anime, it is clear that Tengen Urzui is a Demon Slayer with a lot of power. Although his Sound Breathing may not have many techniques, each one is extremely devastating when used properly.

Sound Breathing Fifth Form String Performance is the most powerful of these. It uses both his swords and the chain connecting them. To maximize the damage, he transforms his swords into a deadly whirlwind and simultaneously sets off a few bombs. Strongest Breathing Styles in Demon Slayer

05. Thunder Breathing

Thunder Breathing

Thunder Breathing is another main style of breathing that descends directly from Sun Breathing. It mimics lightning speed. Hiro Shimono describes it as a force coursing through the muscles and blood vessels in your legs.

Thunder Breathing contains seven forms, but fans only saw Zenitsu master the Thunderclap or Flash First Form. Three variations were created: God Speed, Six Fold, and Eight Fold. A Seventh Form was only found in Honoikazuchi no Kami, which allows Zenitsu to sprint forward in the form a yellow dragon-shaped lightning rod.

04. Flame Breathing

Flame Breathing

Flame Breathing is one style that evolved from Sun Breathing. It was first used by Kyojurou Rengoku (Flame Hashira) and Shinjuro Rengoku (Shinjuro Rengoku). The Flame Breathing is a movement that looks like a flame and leaves the enemy feeling a burning sensation. The Flame, unlike the Thunderbreathing which is usually performed with a low stance and leaves the enemy with burning sensations, is performed with an elevated stance.

The Flame Breathing is a powerful move. All of them were displayed in Rengoku’s fight against Akaza, who was displaying his full power and as the Flame Hashira. One of these is the Flame Tiger which is an overhead slash that creates the appearance of a flaming Tiger toward the enemy. The strongest move of Rengoku is called Purgatory. It’s a move that involves a high stance and unleashing a flaming dragon to charge directly at the enemy.

03. Wind Breathing

Wind Breathing

The Wind Breathingstyle, used by the Wind Hashira Sanemi Shinaguzawa is second. This style allows the user to move in the same way as the wind, but it is very offensive due to the known techniques. This Breathing style also takes advantage of wind, allowing users to blend in with it and launch several quick attacks.

Sanemi, the Wind Hashira was able use this style to its full extent in his battles using every technique he had. Many of these are quite striking to see, as they involve creating whirlwind-like patterns with their attacks like the Eighth Form: Primary Gala Slash. Here Sanemi jumps high enough to swing his knife to create a whirlwind which slices through the enemy’s body.

02. Moon Breathing

 Moon Breathing

Kokushibo is one the most powerful Demons. His power is made even more impressive by the fact that he uses the Moon Breathing technique in his fights. It makes it impossible for the highest ranking member of the Twelve Kizuki to fight in battle.

The sixteenth form of his Moon Breathing, Moonbow – Half Moon, is particularly lethal. His Blood Demon Art’s power and his downward crescent slashes cause extensive damage to a large area, resulting in full-blown craters at the point of impact. This is a truly frightening ability that sets him apart among the rest of the series.

01. Sun Breathing

Sun Breathing

It would be impossible to list the most powerful breathing techniques without mentioning Hinokami Kagura, the Dance of the Sun God which serves as the source for all breathing techniques in Demon Slayer.

This attack’s most powerful form doesn’t even come with a name. This Thirteenth Form, instead, is a combination of all 12 Hinokami Kagura forms. It was created by Tanjkiro. It is eventually used by him to cut through Muzan’s vital organs, and finally destroy him.
