So it will be difficult to keep track of all the anime that you might want to catch up on. That’s why we have created this Uzaki-Chan Season 2 Release schedule which will help you keep up with all the release dates of episode 1 to 12 and remind you when the next episode will air.

After the long wait, our favourite teasing queen Uzaki is back with the second season of “Uzaki-Chan Wants to Hang Out!” (Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai!), also referred to as Uzaki-chan in short in the anime community. For the unaware, Uzaki-Chan is a popular slice-of-life comedy anime which follows the daily life of a group of titular college characters.

The show is based on the manga series of the same name by TAKE, published on Niconico Seiga’s Dra Dra Sharp website spanning over 9 volumes.

Similar to the first instalment, Uzaki-Chan Season 2 will be animated by Studio ENGI with Kazuya Miura leading the production as a series director Takashi Aoshima handling the scripts and Manabu Kurihara drawing the characters designs along with Satoshi Igarashi composing the music.

All the said staff and cast members are reprising thier roles in season 2. Kano and Naomi Ozora, as her character, Hana Uzaki is performing the opening “Once-in-a-Lifetime Celebration”, while MKLNtic the ending theme “Happy Life”.

Uzaki-Chan Wants to Hang out Season 2 Release Date

Episode 1 of Uzaki-chan wants to Hang Out is set to premiere on October 1, 2022,, at 9 PM JST and is confirmed to run for 13 episodes with a new one releasing every Saturday.

Based on this information, the release schedule for various international regions will be as follows:

Where is Uzaki-Chan Season 2 anime available online? Is it available on Crunchyroll, Funimation and Netflix?

Uzaki-Chan Season 2 release date

The new episodes of Uzaki-Chan Season 2 will first premiere first on AT-X followed by other Television networks like ABC, Tokyo MX, BS11, and TVA. Japanese viewers can also enjoy the show online at AbemaTv and Anime Store.

As for anime’s release outside Japan, Crunchyroll has acquired the license to stream Uzaki-Chan Season 2 in North America, Brazil, the UK and Spain in both English dub and sub.

Meanwhile, Bilibili global has announced they will stream the show in Southeast Asia in multiple subtitles including English, Thai, and Vietnamese.

The episodes will first air on Japanese local TV networks and then will arrive on the above-mentioned streaming platforms within 1-3 hours.

Note that the above release time for Crunchyroll is based on the platform’s usual release pattern. Anyway, don’t fret because we’ll update this post if it isn’t a simulcast release and the release time is different.

How Many Episodes Season 2 of Uzaki-Chan will have?

As confirmed of Twitter, Uzaki-chan Season 2 will have 13 episodes which will air from October 1, 2022, to December 24, 2022. A New episode will be released every week on Saturday at 9:00 PM JST.

Uzaki-chan Season 2 English Dub Release

Crunchyroll already has confirmed the English dub production and will soon start rolling out the dubbed episodes from October 15th, 2022. The returning Dub cast is as follows:

  • Monica Rial as Hana Uzaki
  • Ricco Fajardo as Shinichi Sakurai (with David Matranga voice matching for episode 1)
  • Jad Saxton as Ami Asai
  • Kent Williams as Akihiko Asai
  • Terri Doty as Tsuki Uzaki

The dubbed episodes will release with a two weeks gap after the Japanese dub version.

Will The Anime Come to Netflix?

Yes, it has been confirmed by Netflix that the third season of Teasing Master Takagi-San is coming to their streaming platform. However, an exact release date wasn’t revealed.

Hana Uzaki is thrilled to discover that she is attending the same college as her fellow high school upperclassman, Shinichi Sakurai. However, after a year of watching him just laze around, she concludes that he has turned into a loner. She decides to spend as much time with Shinichi as possible, believing that he is an introvert or intimidating, which is uncool and unacceptable. Beginning her project to have Shinichi experience a fun lifestyle, Hana stalks him like an annoying pest.
